Like all coir doormats it is suitable for Indoor and Sheltered Outdoor Use.
Anti Slip Underlay - If you plan on using your door mat on hard flooring, we recommend purchasing Anti Slip Underlay for your mat. This will aid in preventing the mat slipping or moving when it shouldn’t.
Please note:This doormat is made from natural coconut fibres called coir and may shed in the first few months of use. During this period simply brush or shake the mat to maintain its best appearance.
If the mat becomes dirty, wait for the mud to dry and then remove with a stiff brush.
Coir is a naturally biodegradable material, which is great for the environment but if you leave it outside to get wet it will shorten its lifespan. If you do choose to use the mat outdoors in an exposed location and it becomes wet, please lift it and allow it to drain and dry out from time to time to prolong its life.
A note about shedding: The quality of these mats means that they shed much less than other coir matting. We have been in the mat business for many years and have seen a lot of variations in quality. However, all coir mats do shed to a certain extent particularly when they are new. Try to avoid pulling at the piles and excessive vacuuming. Any shedding will settle down after the mat has been used for a little while.

We send all our orders via DHL and you will receive a tracking email from us by 5pm on the day of despatch.
We ask that you provide a mobile number with your delivery address. We pass this number over to DHL as they will text you with a time slot of when your order should be delivered. If you do not provide us with a mobile number an email shall be sent instead.
At the point of placing your order, you can state a safe place to leave your order if you are out, or you can opt to leave it with a neighbour.
Within the DHL text or email providing your timeslot, there is the option to rearrange delivery or have it sent to a service point to be collected from there.

What size doormat for double doors?
For double doors, we recommend mats that are at least 120cm wide. We also offer 150cm wide mats to accommodate larger doors, like French doors. If you need a bigger or smaller mat to complement your double doors, you're welcome to order a cut-to-size mat from us. To measure for a door mat, start by taking a tape measure and measure across the width of your door frame. Think about whether you'd like your door mat to cover just the door frame's width or a couple of centimetres past it, and then take this as your door mat's width measurement.You'll also want to think about the length of your door mat and match it to the space that the mat is in. For a more spacious room, you might consider a 60cm or 75cm long door mat. In the case that you'd prefer a less substantial mat, a 45cm long door mat can look the part whilst not taking up too much space.
Lastly, there's the thickness of the mat. It's important for you to measure the overall height between your door and the floor, because if you choose a mat that's thicker than this measurement, it can catch on your door.
In the case that you're using a mat well or recess, measure the mat well/recess's depth and use this for the thickness of the mat. Then, measure the length and width of the mat well/recess instead of measuring your door.
If you have a step in front of your front door or patio doors, as shown in the picture below, you're generally safe to go for thicker door mats of up to 40mm. But best practice is always to measure!
How thick is a door mat?
Door mats are typically 9-20mm thick, however, they come in a range of thicknesses to suit different uses, all the way up to 40mm. The thickness that you'll need for your door can either depend on the space you have available between the floor and your door frame or the depth of your mat well/recess.A thicker mat usually comes at a higher price, reflecting the luxury feel that they bring to a room and more material being used. Our thinner mats, however, are just as effective, high-quality, and long-lasting.
