They can be used in a mat well or laid straight onto the floor and are extremely hard-wearing.

Can also be made to a template if you have an unusually shaped mat well.

Details

These traditionally made mats have a woven backing rather than PVC or rubber. This makes them more suitable for use in areas likely to get wet as the woven backing allows the mat to dry out quicker and therefore last longer.
However, as these mats are made from 100% natural materials, therefore it is advised they are not left outside and exposed to the elements.

Perfectly suited to buildings with character, these are the mats chosen by the National Trust to adorn the doorsteps of their properties.
