Absorbent Scraper Faux Coir Matting
Brilliantly absorbent and complete with in-built scraping ability this new faux coir matting is brilliant when you’d ideally like to use two mats but just don’t have space.
At 9mm its super thin and doesn’t shed at all. This means it is great for shallow mat wells or where there is low door clearance.

This matting is perfect for areas such as hallways that get a lot of use, its heavy-duty enough for commercial use too.
Put in your measurements and we will cut to size for you in our UK workshop. Delivered directly to your door by courier with no waste. Other suppliers charge to the nearest metre so you'll pay more and have more wastage.
We do not usually recommend faux coir matting for outdoor use. In situations where it is likely to get very wet, the backing prevents the water from running away.
Normal indoor use where the mat becomes wet from shoes and umbrellas etc is absolutely fine and is what this matting is designed for, but we do not recommend it being left outside to the elements.
If you do wish to use faux coir matting in an outdoor location the backing can be punctured with holes to allow any water build-up to run away but we advise against this as the mat will become very wet in an exposed location.
Maintenance is a breeze. Just run the vacuum over it and if it ever looks particularly dirty you can use a carpet shampoo machine too.
A mixture of hard scraping fibres and soft yarns make up the pile and these scrape off the dirt and soak up moisture. These are cleverly blended into the pile with a fleck design to hide any dirt.

We send our sample orders via First Class Royal Mail. However, sometimes they can take a couple of days to reach you.
For all samples that are 23mm and less they are sent as Large Letter Size, so they should easily fit through your letter box.
For multiple samples or samples that are thicker than 23mm these are sent as Small Parcel Size so there may be times where it is not posted through your letterbox, and they will knock.
